Motivation & Accountability

I want to do so much. At 45 years old, I am starting to feel that time is just over my shoulder and would like nothing more than to take me down. That cannot happen.

My kids are 12, 10 and 1. My two older kids are in spectacular shape. They motivate me to get better. My baby motivates me to get healthier so she has a better example.

What’s amazing is I started this blog for accountability yet my oldest kids are really taking the lead in making sure I’m on track. They don’t know about the blog so it is just them being awesome. They check in on me every day to see if I’m moving. Telling them I did a 30-second plank is no different than if I told them I climbed a mountain. These kids get excited by the little things. It makes me smile and keeps me motivated.

So, now I’m accountable to my kids. What a role reversal. And it is working. Thank you both!
